I am a Registered Nurse with extensive community nursing, aged care and acute hospital care experience. Having spent much of my life living in various regional Queensland towns (Kingaroy, Weipa, Gympie & Toowoomba), I have a strong connection with regional community and a love for regional lifestyle. Regional living, however, can be isolating when we suffer trauma, are injured, our bodies begin to fail us, or we lack emotional and general support. Often care isn't far away, but for some, the inconvenience of leaving home, the lack of comfort offered by a care facility, or simply the lack of familiarity with carers and the care environment, is less than desirable. 

I founded Independence Nursing in the hope of ridding inconvenience, isolation & intimidation for regional community members suffering or enduring temporary or permanent injury, incapacity or impairment. Our in-home nursing services and support allow you and your loved ones to receive flexible, professional, dignified care whilst enjoying the comfort, convenience and familiarity of home.​
